Description
In the lower part of the parietal lobe towards the front there is a ragged cavity some 2 cm across
with numerous minute areas of haemorrhage in the surrounding tissue. The damaged area is much
greater in extent than the diameter of the bullet and covers an area some 5 cm in diameter.
History
In this instance the entrance wound was in the skin at the right temple. The bullet passed
through both parietal lobes and was found near the surface of the posterior part of the left parietal
lobe.
